Our MTCC team took on the Second Harvest Truck Pull Challenge, pulling a 20,000lb truck across Nathan Phillips Square in 17.38 seconds!

We are proud to support Second Harvest and their mission to fight food insecurity and reduce food waste across Canada. Through this fundraiser alone, we raised $2,520, helping and provided 12,600 meals for communities across the country.

Together, we can help close the gap on food insecurity.

Behind the scenes as the MTCC welcomes Rendez-Vous Canada 2026 this week, Canada’s largest international tourism trade show!

With more than 60,000 business-to-business appointments taking place on our show floor, RVC is expected to generate more than $100 million in future tourism sales and reinforces the vital role major conventions play in driving economic impact, trade, and tourism growth for Toronto and Canada.

The Metro Toronto Convention Centre is proud to celebrate more than $10 billion in total economic impact generated since opening in 1984.

In fiscal year 2025/26 alone, the MTCC welcomed 1M+ visitors, generated $510M+ in economic impact, supported 5,550+ jobs, and continued investing in Ontario businesses and local communities.

Last fiscal year, the MTCC purchased more than $4 million in products from Ontario growers, food suppliers, wineries and craft breweries, and donated more than 25,000 meals to local charities.

Rien que pour l’exercice 2025/26, le MTCC a accueilli plus d’un million de visiteurs, généré plus de 510 millions de dollars d’impact économique, soutenu plus de 5 550 emplois et poursuivi ses investissements auprès des entreprises ontariennes et des communautés locales.

Au cours du dernier exercice, le MTCC a acheté pour plus de 4 millions de dollars de produits auprès de producteurs, fournisseurs alimentaires, vignobles et microbrasseries de l’Ontario, et a également donné plus de 25 000 repas à des organismes de bienfaisance locaux.
