/edition Art Book Fair champions forward-thinking projects by artists and publishers who seek to strengthen Canadian & International art book initiative Edition Toronto is dedicated to the promotion of art book publishing, in all forms, while building an appreciation for artworks produced in editions of more than one. The fair will focus on contemporary art practices and welcome b

ook publishers, commercial galleries, artist-run centres, and independent artists, collectives, book-makers and dealers from around the world. Visitors will have their eyes and minds opened to alternative ways of looking at and collecting art as they browse a wide range of contemporary and historical editions, multiples, publications and collectible art-related ephemera. Developed in conjunction with Art Metropole, which has been dedicated to the promotion, distribution and conservation of artist’s books and multiples since 1974, Edition Toronto’s weekend program will feature local, national and international speakers who will educate, enlighten and entertain.

/edition Art Book Fair is produced annually in tandem with Art Toronto (Canada’s International Art Fair), and is dedicated to the promotion of art book publishing in all forms and artworks created in editions.

/edition Art Book Fair champions forward-thinking projects by artists, publishers, galleries, and organizations who share a similar mission to advance and strengthen Canadian and International art book initiatives. Vendors at /edition represent a diverse cross-section of mediums and interests, as well as a wide range of locales spanning Ontario, Canada, and Internationally.

In our third year, 3/edition Art Book Fair will run from Friday, October 26 to Sunday, October 28, 2018. Last year, over 10,000 visited 2/edition, and perused a wide range of artist’s books, editions, and ephemera representative of the timely, groundbreaking trends in this field today.

3/edition will continue to program auxiliary, educational programming in collaboration with our vendors, contributors, and programming sponsors, in hopes of furthering our mandate and the pedagogy of art-book making and collecting.
