We’re Bebe and Oona! We’re twins who write songs that merge punk edge and post-punk moodiness with irresistible hooks, bouncy grooves, gut-punch lyrics, and harmonies. Last year we released our first album, “Keep A Secret”, and arrived to begin life at McGill! We love all the wonderful people in Montreal’s music scene and are loving every minute connecting with new audiences.
Stay tuned to hear the dates of our upcoming shows in Montreal and Toronto this summer!

Garden Project - 7:25-8:05pm
Having met through the Macdonald Campus Music club, we bonded over our love of community and uplifting folk music, which we showcase through our setlist. We’ll make you dance to some Celtic rock, Quebec classics and other Canadian hits.

Neski - 8:10-9:00pm
Hey! I’m Neski and I am from Montreal. This is my second time performing at OAP and I am beyond grateful to be closing it out this time. If you weren’t there for my last set, the way I would describe my music is if Malugi and Pegassi had a baby but Knock2 and David Guetta were the uncles. Expect a fast, multi-genre and non-stop energy set full of surprises, classic tunes and even some of my own original music! So get ready and I can’t wait to see everyone on April 30th at 8pm:)

OAP DAY 2 - F2F

For Concrete Breaks, visual art and dance are first and foremost tools of resistance; methods by which we can exercise community resilience and our right to free expression, amidst coordinated efforts to divide and pacify us. Restoring rave culture to its defiant roots matters now more than ever.

After a string of triumphant events that merge cutting-edge UK bass music with a communal art exposition, the collective has established themselves as a rising force in both Montreal and Toronto’s rave scenes. Through the cultivation of community involvement and multi-media art, Concrete Breaks strives to create distinctively interactive and immersive experiences on the dance floor and beyond.

Anticipation is high for their takeover of OAP, as a one-of-a-kind Face 2 Face DJ set is slated to grace the lower field on April 29th.

AVIV&NOA - 6:30-7:10pm
AVIV is a music project that started in COVID. AVIV’s production links a style of vintage visuals and background distortion to feel like your lost in an ambrosial daydream. On a live stage, AVIV&NOA bring these elements to life in an attempt to portray this world, with guitarist Noa Pourmaradi. As McGill student’s we hold OAP close to our hearts, and cannot wait to play for you. 

Chris George - 7:25-8:05pm
Chris George is a Montreal-based singer/songwriter with a deep passion for soul and rock music. He has a powerful presence in his hometown scene, ensuring that the party never stops when he hits the stage. He is backed by a 5-piece band that delivers a truly organic sound. Their live shows invite their audience into a realm of rootsy guitars, groovy rhythms and heavenly organ and keyboard passages.
He will be releasing an album this year entitled “Golden,” which explores themes of love, lust, heartbreak and self-determination.

Clement Gabriel - 8:10-9:00pm
Drawing inspiration from a diverse musical and cultural background, trained classical pianist with a visionary perspective, Clement Gabriel seeks to share a feeling in electronic music characterized by experimental composition, emotive melodies and hypnotic rhythms. His sound is defined by the genre of melodic house and techno. Beyond the studio, performances are immersive and high-energy, marked by powerful, aggressive moments that contrast with melodic depth and tension. Each set is crafted to take listeners on a journey building intensity and maintaining a strong emotional core. With a focus on storytelling and sonic identity, he aims to create experiences that empower the soul.

***ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION***
OAP is on the Lower West Field in Downtown McGill Campus. The field can get quite muddy, especially with rain. There are portable bathrooms inside the park, which are non-gendered. OAP is an outdoor, smoke-free event. There will be non-alcoholic beverage options, gluten-free options, and vegetarian and vegan food options. There may be loud music and bright or flashing lights after 5pm. OAP is a relatively busy event, with crowds, and a line to enter.
