❤️ As we put the 8th running of Phoenix Trail Races to bed, we want to send a HUGE thank you to all of the runners, hikers, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, family and friends who helped make this year's event such a success!

So many smiles, so much grit and determination, goals met, friendships made, cheers, tears and everything in between! 🔥

🔥 ONE MORE SLEEP until Race Day!

The countdown is almost over, and our team is busy getting everything ready to welcome you to the trails tomorrow! The arch is erected - the porta potties have arrived! It's all coming together!

A few last reminders for our runners:
✅ Revisit your Participant Guide
✅ Double-check your start time, parking and arrival plans
✅ Get your race gear ready
✅ Bring your excitement — we’ll take care of the race-day atmosphere!

Our volunteers and organizing team will be busy with final preparations today, so replies to last-minute messages may take a little longer than usual.

Our Participant Raffle features a fun variety of items shared by local businesses who want to celebrate and support our runners.

From personal training sessions and yoga memberships to fitness apparel and event tickets, there are some great surprises in store!

For as long as has been around, we've been lucky enough to have Marcie and Dempsey capturing the action on course!

Marcie has a wonderful eye for capturing both the excitement of race day and those beautiful moments along the trails. And together, their fun personalities, enthusiasm and encouragement make them so much more than race photographers. They're an important part of what makes race day special.

📝We’ve made our list and we’re checking it twice; 👀we’re making sure your race kits are packed just right! 👌

Phoenix Trail Races is coming up this Saturday, there are 3 options to pick up your race kits.

1. Thursday Oct 15th 5:30 - 7:30pm
Backroads Brews + Shoes, 1295 Riverbend Rd. London

2. Friday Oct 16th 4 - 6pm
Watson Porter Pavilion, Fanshawe Conservation Area

3. Saturday Oct 17th 7:45 - 8:45am
Watson Porter Pavilion, Fanshawe Conservation Area

If you can - it's best to pick up your kit on Thursday or Friday to make your Race Day morning a little less hectic.

• All you need is your name.
• A friend can pick your kit up for you
• Thursday will also be a final chance to purchase a one-time-only 6-pack of the BackRoads/Phoenix Trail Races Collab b**r while supplies last.

We're just 6 days away from race day, and today we're feeling especially thankful for our amazing participants, spectators, volunteers, sponsors and partners! Everyone who helps make it special. ❤️
