🌍🚣♂️ 4 months to go. 
The countdown is on for the 2026 FISU World University Rowing Championships, coming to London, Ontario, Canada - August 13–15, 2026. 
 
For the first time ever, this global championship will be hosted in North America, with more than 500 student-athletes from 28 countries already indicating their intent to compete. The response has exceeded expectations, and the excitement is building around the world. 
 
“We’re pleased to know the rest of the world is as excited as we are to host and compete here in Canada,” says Event Chair, Dan Bechard. 
London is excited to welcome the global rowing community for an event filled with world-class sport and international connections.

Today is the final day to register for the 2026 FISU World University Rowing Championships 🚣 
 
This event will welcome more than 300 student-athletes from over 20 countries to compete on the international stage. Hosted in London, Canada from August 13 to 15, 2026 at Fanshawe Lake, this is first time the FISU World University Rowing Championships will be held in Canada. 
Registration deadline is TODAY: Friday, February 13!

We’ve deconstructed the official FISU Rowing 2026 event logo 🚣‍♀️. 
 
Inspired by London’s Forest City identity, Western University’s purple, and Canada as the host nation, the logo reflects the global spirit 🌍 of university rowing and FISU.

Welcome to the London 2026 FISU World University Championship Rowing page! 🚣🏼‍♂️🇨🇦

This will now serve as the official account for the 2026 edition of the FISU World University Rowing Championships that will be hosted at Fanshawe Lake in beautiful London, Ontario Canada.

Located in the southwest region of the province of Ontario and conveniently just two hours from Toronto, Canada’s largest city, London is home to over 422,000 people making it the 15th largest city in Canada. The City of London is also home to Western University, one of Canada’s largest universities and the host university for these championships.

The Doug Wells Rowing Centre, that is located on the picturesque Fanshawe Lake will serve as the competition venue for these championships. This six-lane course is the former training centre for the Canadian National Women’s Team and over the years has produced countless Olympics & World medalists.

We look forward to welcoming rowers, coaches support staff and fans from all across the globe to London! 🇨🇦
