Any Rider. Any Bike. Any Experience. Inspired by the Fernie Gravel Grind’s motto ā€˜Anything Goes With Gravel’, the Anything Goes Event Series (AGES) offers a new age of cycling events across Western Canada, created for any and all cyclists. Beyond a cycling event series, AGES was established in 2022 as a platform to expand ideas and passions for the cycling community. The Spirit of Gravel is that Anything Goes; the Spirit of Gravel is Inclusivity.

Well, that’s a wrap on the Anything Goes Event Series 2026 season 🫶

From our small but mighty AGES team, thank you for being part of our events this year.

We pour our hearts into creating quality events each season, and we hope we were able to bring a little more two-wheeled stoke into your life along the way.

Thanks for riding, volunteering, and supporting what we’re continuing to build. We couldn’t do it without you.

See you in 2027 šŸ™

This weekend, Anything Goes Event Series gets back to its mountain biking roots with the second edition of Steep n’ Deep Downcountry XC and our brand new women’s enduro, Fernie Femmduro 🤘

Head over to Steep n’ Deep XC and Fernie Femmduro to learn more. Registration is open for 2 more days.

If you’re in town, we’re still looking for volunteers. Otherwise, come hang out at the Elk Valley Nordic Centre, grab a b**r in support of the Fernie Trails Alliance, and cheer on the racers.

See you this weekend šŸ»

Last bike party of the year this weekend! Join us at the Elk Valley Nordic Centre for Steep n' Deep XC and Fernie Femmduro this Saturday and Sunday Sept 26-27th.

We are still looking for a handful of people willing to help on course with stage marshalling. If you aren't racing, come help out and see how close AGES can get to generating $20,000 for the Fernie Trails Alliance this year.

We couldn’t have asked for better conditions to race, ride, and hang out in Idlewild Park. The course was running fast, the gravel was good, and from everything we’ve been hearing, riders were pretty stoked on what Cranbrook had to offer.

A huge thank you to all our volunteers and sponsors for supporting our team and helping make the CGG happen. We couldn’t do it without you.

Riders can expect a link to photos and a post-event survey tomorrow. For now, enjoy a little extra time to relax and soak up the rest of the long weekend.

Thanks for joining us!

It’s Cranbrook Gravel Grind Weekend!

Tomorrow, we start welcoming riders to our home base in Idlewild Park.

A few pre-race reminders:

šŸŽŖ Package Pickup is Friday 3pm-7pm and Saturday 7:30am-8:30am at Idlewild Park. If you can, we encourage coming Friday to save yourself the race-morning scramble.

šŸ—ŗļø Make sure you’re racing with the route file loaded. Strava and Ride with GPS files are available in the Race Guide.

🚘 Parking at Idlewild is limited to staff and volunteers. Please use the designated parking location in the Race Guide. We’ve also included riding directions to the start.

šŸŒ¦ļø Rocky Mountain weather likes to keep things interesting. Rain, shine, heat, cold we recommend being ready for anything and everything.

The best gravel you never knew existed is ready and waiting. See you soon!
