Esquimalt Lantern Festival

Warning: the clowns are coming to Esquimalt tomorrow night.....If you do not want to smile, dance or possibly jump into a conga line then you'd best stay home as Entangados is going to be turning Captain Jacobson Park into a high energy dance floor! We are super excited to welcome this 7 piece band from Argentina to our stage at the lantern festival. They have a unique sound and stage presence mixing traditional musical styles of Quadetra and Cumbia, while dressed as clowns and singing about social and political issues. All of this with a giant dose of humour, happiness and energy!!! You seriously do not want to miss this!

Bashirah Middle Eastern Dance Company, led by Bobbie Barry, has performed with the Esquimalt Lantern Festival since 2009. Bashirah is an Arabic female name which means "bringer of good tidings and joy". We look forward to their magical performance along the parade route in Barnard Park
