For Emily and Matias, food is about so much more than what’s on the plate. It’s about connection, community, and sharing stories around the fire.

Inspired by Matias’ Argentine roots and childhood memories of cooking alongside his abuelo, every dish is crafted with intention, tradition, and a whole lot of passion.

We’re excited to welcome Elephant Island Winery to the Victoria Wingstock tasting lineup!

Nestled on the beautiful Naramata Bench, Elephant Island has been crafting wine since 1999, building a reputation for producing thoughtful, fruit-forward wines that celebrate the best of BC agriculture.

Even better? The family behind the winery has roots right here in Victoria, making this a bit of a homecoming.

🥟 VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: Dumpling Drop 🥟

Some businesses start with a business plan. Dumpling Drop started with family.

What began as a way for owner Tarn to spend time making dumplings with her mother, Toom, after an Alzheimer’s diagnosis has grown into one of Victoria’s most beloved food stories.

Built on connection, tradition, and care, Dumpling Drop has become a local favourite, serving handcrafted dumplings from their home in Victoria’s historic Chinatown while making community support a core part of everything they do.

That’s one of the many reasons they’re such a perfect fit for Victoria Wingstock.

Giving back to the community is at the heart of this event, and Dumpling Drop shares that same spirit. Their story is proof that food has the power to bring people together, create meaningful connections, and make a positive impact beyond the plate.

Through their generosity, community involvement, and passion for supporting local causes, they’ve become much more than a restaurant - they’ve become a valued part of the fabric of Victoria.

First year at Wingstock and already bringing BIG beer energy 🍻🔥

We’re pumped to welcome Category 12 Brewing to the Wingstock lineup for the very first time.

Known for bold beers, experimental brewing, and a serious passion for the craft, Category 12 has built a loyal following with everything from big Belgian-inspired brews to hop-forward Northwest ales.

Founder Michael is constantly tweaking, testing, and perfecting recipes - because good enough just isn’t in the vocabulary over there.

Their Island-built brewhouse, science-meets-beer mentality, and contagious enthusiasm make them a pretty perfect fit for Wingstock.
