🌼 SCROLL TO REVEAL... 🌼

Canadian legend, Ronnie Burkett, is celebrating 40 years of performing with The Daisy Theatre, and we are celebrating with him!

Watch in awe as each character steals Ronnie's spotlight. They make take the words right out of his mouth - and often do!

Join Esme, Schnitzel, and the rest of the Daisy Theatre as they return to the High Performance Rodeo and take centre stage once again.

SCROLL TO REVEAL...⭐

Lights are turning on in the theatre, and our spotlights are warming up. The High Performance Rodeo is just around the corner and our shows are closer than they appear.

What's in a name?

My Name is Karen returns this winter and promises to bring with her a healthy dose of levity, poignancy, satire and of course... Karen.

Calling all theatre creatives!

Are you ready to make something wild?

The Ten Minute Play Festival, part of the 2027 High Performance Rodeo curated by One Yellow Rabbit, is looking for indie theatre companies and ad hoc groups of artists to embrace the beautiful chaos that is the kick off to the annual festival.

You’ll get a prop.
You’ll get a prompt.
You’ll get 24 hours to write, rehearse and create a brand-new 10-minute play.

Then? It’s showtime!

Five to six groups will be selected to perform at the Martha Cohen Theatre on January 16, 2027, with the 24-hour creation period beginning the evening of January 15.

Selected groups receive a small artist fee and limited technical support. You provide the rehearsal space. We provide the pressure.

Want in?

Send us an expression of interest (500 words max) telling us who you are and why you want to take on the wild challenge.

DEADLINE: OCTOBER 9, 2026

✨ Denise Clarke has a few questions. And if you've seen her work before, you know she's going to ask them with passion.

In Pray This, Denise turns her attention to some of the big questions in life... love, death and the beautiful, baffling mess of being human.

Her newest solo work brings together extraordinary movement, sharp humour and a soulful soundtrack from Halifax's BlackWood Trio. It's thoughtful, funny and unmistakably Denise.

Come see what she's been creating.
