As we wrap up the 22nd annual Calgary International Blues Festival we have a smile in our hearts. What a great week of blues with world class artists gracing our stages. Thank you to all the brilliant artists who brought their music to us, we love you! Weโre sorry for those who were stranded by the Westjet strike, thank you for being so gracious and allowing us to help you with places to stay until you could get home.
Thank you to all who came out to support us. Blues fans young and old, new and familiar, and from all walks of life brought their joyful spirits to The Confluence to dance and share in the fun. And what fun it was!

Thank you most of all to the Calgary Bluesfest volunteer team, who worked their hearts out in the blistering heat, through a crazy cold snap with big winds, and through the days of strike when weโre all so tired. A special thank you to those who went above and beyond to take care of our artists who were stuck here due to the strike, so incredibly generous of you and your families. It is all of you who make Calgary Bluesfest truly come to life and we love you!
