“Music for nature: Alessandro Martire in concert” is presented by the Consulate of Italy in Perth with the support of the Town of Cambridge. The event is part of “Italian Way”, the Festival of Italian Creativity organised by the Consulate celebrating Perth as a capital of Italian creativity in 2025.

Experience the magic of a world-renowned visionary pianist as he takes you on a journey through emotions, melodies, and pure enchantment. Alessandro Martire will perform the piece “Desert Reflections” inspired by the beauty and the magic of Pinnacles Desert and accompanied by a local string quartet and the evocative melodies of the Didgeridoo performed by acclaimed musician Jayden Boundry.

With another beautiful West Australian Ballet season complete we now have a little less than a month left before we shift into wedding season, and then our winter break. But what a month it's going to be!

Coming up this week:

🎸8 March - The Chain Tribute Band presents the Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Experience.

❤️9 March - Kim Churchill's 'The Lovely Tour'. His biggest Australian tour to date in support of his upcoming album 'It's Lovely to Have you Here'

The Quarry and Amphitheatre and the Town of Cambridge pays tribute to Diana Waldron, a long term resident of City Beach, who sadly passed away on the evening of 27 February 2025. As a ballet dancer, teacher, and choreographer Diana and her late husband architect Ken Waldron were the creative forces behind the development of the beautiful Quarry Amphitheatre.

We will forever be grateful for the vision and tenacity of the Waldrons in creating the Quarry Amphitheatre. The Town of Cambridge will continue to work hard to protect this very special place.

We extend our deepest sympathies to friends and family who will no doubt be reminiscing about how special Diana Waldron was to the local arts and cultural community.
