The Awards recognise, encourage and reward the positive achievements of young Australians.

The purpose of the Victorian Young Achiever Awards is to acknowledge, encourage and most importantly promote the positive achievements of all young people up to and including 29 years of age as of 31st December each year. Each category winner is rewarded with a prize and a magnificent trophy. From the category winners the Victorian Young Achiever of the Year is awarded an additional prize and state trophy. 🙌 Young people know what matters to them. When they’re listened to and work together, that knowledge can shape a stronger community.

The Victorian Government Group Achievement in the Community Award celebrates groups of young people delivering a service, program or project that benefits other young people.

Their work must be shaped by consultation and engagement with young people and lead to positive change locally. It could be a program, activity or service developed in response to what young people say they need.
