It took me a while to process those 4 days on the Hill in Pyalong. Four days, but it felt like four months. The amount of experiences and emotions was overwhelming. The human body continues to amaze me. To be able to run the last lap just as strongly as the first blows my mind. 380 km and triple Everest — 27,000 meters of vertical gain over a 90-hour period on a 4.2 km loop.
I didn't know what to expect from a new course, but after running a couple of laps, I knew it would be a long few days and that I would easily beat last year's result.
I dreamt of and visualized myself crossing the line as the last one standing, holding the Polish flag.Â
First and foremost, a massive thanks to my crew. I couldn’t have gone anywhere that far without them. During the last two nights, I was fully reliant on their support. They not only fed and dressed me but also motivated me. I couldn’t let them down, and I’m so happy I could bring home the win for the team. Thank you for all the messages of support, positive comments, encouragement, and even messages from my parents and sister all the way from Poland — they made a huge difference. That’s really what kept my spirits up and kept my eyes open during the hard moments.
Thanks to the guys at Hardcore Harry for having a vision, building this event from scratch and initiating a change for athletes pay.
you're a warrior and a gentleman. I can't wait to see how far we can push each other next year
Congratulations to everyone who took on the challenge, regardless of the number of laps they completed.
