"The hug was fierce. The kind that holds time still for a moment.

I was mid-tent setup when I heard someone yelling my name. I looked around, confused—until a car door flew open, and Gabi came running at me, arms wide, pure joy incarnate.

That’s the thing about spaces like this. You see a woman once, maybe a year ago, and somehow—she’s still your people.

The festival wasn’t just about the workshops or the music. It was about recognising each other—in the knowing glance from the barista who remembered me, in the newborn baby cradled in the arms of a woman I met last year when she was heavily pregnant, in the late-night chats where nothing was off-limits.

We need this. We crave this.

Because in a world that so often isolates us, there is deep magic in women simply coming together.

And if you don’t have a Gabi yet? Trust me, she’s out there. Keep showing up."
