Cancelling the Port Elliot Show was an extremely difficult decision and was not made lightly. The entire Show Committee and Convenors work so hard to bring this show together and having to cancel it was devastating for all involved.
Please remember that all of the people involved are volunteers have been working tirelessly for the last 6 months to ensure that we bring you another wonderful show. Please treat them the with respect they deserve. If you would like to be a part of this team for next year please contact us.

😪📣The Southern Agricultural Society has made the regretful decision to cancel the 2026 Port Elliot Show due to the significant rainfall experienced over the past week, with further rain forecasted. The grounds have become excessively saturated, rendering it unsafe for heavy equipment, food trucks, and livestock to access the area. Ensuring the safety of our patrons, volunteers, and vendors is our utmost priority. Consequently, no indoor exhibits will be accepted or judged this year. Thank you for entering the show and we look forward to your involvement in next year's show.
