This Sunday at Little Stiller Distillery come get some fun times and great vibes. It will be the first ever jam session on my actual birthday date. Sunday 29 September 2pm to 6pm

Every week over looking the beautiful estuary I play with my good buddy Ben Elphick who facilitates a house band (along with Graeme Ford & Mark Godleman) and a stage full of the the most wonderful muso's and singers I've ever had the opportunity to play with.

So this week I'm gate crashing it for my birthday party.

Haha I forgot all about signing up for this. They contacted me years ago when I was briefly in the radio and the telly.

I never got an email or a phone call so i’m preeetty sure I’m not one of their big earners. Some of the bigger names charge up to $2000 for an MP4 of song request & personal shoutout.

Unlike the Fannings, Rogers and Kilbeys, however, I WILL play anything, say anything, and wear anything for pnuts in the dollar. My jam is more a ‘carpool karaoke meets Onlyfans meets Reject Store’

Yep. He works hard for the money. So hard for it honey.

In all seriousness though, check out some of the music talent on here. I wonder how many people book these?

I don't need buzz. Never had it. But the few out there who have found my music over the years and stuck around, I totally love to disco and swap hidden treasure.

It’s extremely disappointing to have to deliver this news but unfortunately we have had to make the decision to postpone our Record Club ‘Big Four showdown’ at Bar Therapy on April 27.
Steve Parkin has been suffering with a dormant medical condition that now requires immediate medical intervention and likely surgery. This has impacted on our ability to deliver this show.
All ticket holders have been refunded overnight and a regular gig will still take place on the night of the event. Funds may take up to 3 business days to appear in your bank account.
Apologies to anyone affected and disappointed by this development but we promise we will bring something bigger and better in the coming months.
We wish Steve nothing but the best on his journey ahead with his recovery.

Damn damn damn. You legendary, giving, super-smart man who cared about your craft and your scene and put up with endless nonsense from bands like mine with good grace and infinite patience. A huge loss to WA music and your many friends. I’ll miss your Beatles cracks and thanks for the many middies you sorted when my card ran out. I’d say rest in peace but that’d bore the s**t out of you. Start mixing that heavenly choir mate and pull some 4k out of those harps. Safe travels Ian.
