We're proud to be included among this year's North Queensland Bulk Ports Community Fund recipients.
The Friends of the MECC were thrilled to attend the funding announcement and celebrate alongside so many organisations doing great work across our region.
The funding will support our Pathways to Performance Program, helping schools with the cost of transport so more students can experience live theatre at the MECC.

We're proud to support 13 community initiatives across Mackay, Hay Point, Bowen and Weipa, sharing $100,000 in funding to help strengthen and enrich our port communities.
These organisations are making a real difference every day – from youth mentoring and su***de prevention training to inclusive arts events and environmental education.
