What could be better?? Three days of world-class bluegrass music in the heart of Victoria's Alpine High Country....cant think of much Id rather be doing!
Our program will be released soon, and in mean time we are getting the details together to let you know about the artists you can expect to see at Mountaingrass 2026.
What you can expect at Mountaingrass? ...A total destination experience that focusses on the live bluegrass and old time folk music in Victoria's beautiful Alpine region, mountain scenery, local food, wine, craft beer, and markets, camping and escape from city life! And fabulous players plucking and singing all over town!

The Often Herd are returning for a tour to the US this year. With support from IBMA they have been given some great anchor gigs and festival appearances with support by the IBMA.

Announcing the ABOTMA Young Performer of the Year Grant recipient for 2026 is Lucy Kammermann!
Lucy, from South Australia, played Mountaingrass last year in a band, The Borough, from QLD.
She is a great talent and top performer already and it will be interesting to see her play and develop more over the coming years! Well done Lucy!
