Do you have a short ghost story inside you, one that's screaming to get out? Or perhaps you've something previously published? Either way, enter it in this year's Mayday Hills Ghost Story Competition and you could win a cash prize and a fabulously gory trophy designed by horror artist Dale Bamford. Finalists get to read their ghost stories to a live audience in the haunted Bijou Theatre, Mayday Hills Asylum, Beechworth, VIC on Saturday Oct 31st as part of AsylumFest 2026, Australia's only 3-day festival of horror. We’re excited to announce that Conclave LARP (live action role playing) has been invited to perform a live demo at AsylumFest later this year!
The event will be held at the historic Mayday Hills in Beechworth, and they’ll be bringing the battlefield with them — showcasing what LARPing is all about with live combat, armour, and the world of the realm in action.
If you’ve been curious about LARP, this will be a great chance for people to see it up close.
