Do you have a short ghost story inside you, one that's screaming to get out? Or perhaps you've something previously published? Either way, enter it in this year's Mayday Hills Ghost Story Competition and you could win a cash prize and a fabulously gory trophy designed by horror artist Dale Bamford. Finalists get to read their ghost stories to a live audience in the haunted Bijou Theatre, Mayday Hills Asylum, Beechworth, VIC on Saturday Oct 31st as part of AsylumFest 2026, Australia's only 3-day festival of horror.
