Hi Everyone!
This post is a reminder for general housekeeping information before each event. Please read it before attending.
If this is your first time, welcome!
Vic Park Pitstop is a free all-ages community event for motoring enthusiasts that runs from 8am to 10am, typically ran monthly.
Aim to arrive at or after 8am. Gates may open sooner so organisers, vendors, and volunteers can set up before people arrive. Arriving too early can hinder the event’s running. If you’d like to arrive earlier, volunteer to help with setup and parking!
Entrance is only off Wakefield Road, near Britannia Roundabout. Don’t queue through the roundabout, and when entering Victoria Park, stick to areas designated by volunteers. Watch for cyclists and pedestrians. We park all cars to ensure people can leave early without being blocked.
Volunteers will guide you to a parking spot. Follow their directions for smooth entry/exit. If you’re bringing your daily driver, park it on the streets surrounding the event and leave space for cars on display. This is at your discretion.
Vic Park Pitstop’s Invitational Section features a curated selection of interesting, unique and special cars each month, chosen from attendants. You may be invited to park in this area in front of the grandstand where we rotate the cars monthly to keep the lineup fresh and give different owners a chance to showcase their rides. Please respect the event by only parking here if invited.
Onsite, there’s coffee and food provided by event partners. Please securely dispose of rubbish in the bins or take it with you if they’re full.
The event ends at 10am. We can’t have cars in the park after that, so please leave by then to lock the gates and make the space available for other park users.
Please leave the event respectfully. We’ve worked hard to create a fun environment for all automotive enthusiasts. Leaving in an antisocial, dangerous, or disruptive manner is taken seriously. Cameras are set up to capture, document, and report those who break road rules to SAPOL, and they may be banned from future events.
We appreciate Vic Park Pitstop’s popularity in Adelaide’s car culture. We need your cooperation to ensure it continues. By following these rules, you’ll be doing everyone a favour so we can do it all again next month 🏎️☕️
