Hi Everyone!

This post is a reminder for general housekeeping information before each event. Please read it before attending.

If this is your first time, welcome!

Vic Park Pitstop is a free all-ages community event for motoring enthusiasts that runs from 8am to 10am, typically ran monthly.

Aim to arrive at or after 8am. Gates may open sooner so organisers, vendors, and volunteers can set up before people arrive. Arriving too early can hinder the event’s running. If you’d like to arrive earlier, volunteer to help with setup and parking!

Entrance is only off Wakefield Road, near Britannia Roundabout. Don’t queue through the roundabout, and when entering Victoria Park, stick to areas designated by volunteers. Watch for cyclists and pedestrians. We park all cars to ensure people can leave early without being blocked.

Volunteers will guide you to a parking spot. Follow their directions for smooth entry/exit. If you’re bringing your daily driver, park it on the streets surrounding the event and leave space for cars on display. This is at your discretion.

Vic Park Pitstop’s Invitational Section features a curated selection of interesting, unique and special cars each month, chosen from attendants. You may be invited to park in this area in front of the grandstand where we rotate the cars monthly to keep the lineup fresh and give different owners a chance to showcase their rides. Please respect the event by only parking here if invited.

Onsite, there’s coffee and food provided by event partners. Please securely dispose of rubbish in the bins or take it with you if they’re full.

The event ends at 10am. We can’t have cars in the park after that, so please leave by then to lock the gates and make the space available for other park users.

Please leave the event respectfully. We’ve worked hard to create a fun environment for all automotive enthusiasts. Leaving in an antisocial, dangerous, or disruptive manner is taken seriously. Cameras are set up to capture, document, and report those who break road rules to SAPOL, and they may be banned from future events.

We appreciate Vic Park Pitstop’s popularity in Adelaide’s car culture. We need your cooperation to ensure it continues. By following these rules, you’ll be doing everyone a favour so we can do it all again next month 🏎️☕️

Thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting Vic Park Pitstop yet again, today was incredible. A few weeks of cold, wet weather meant that everyone needed an excuse to bring their cars out and make some friends, to such an extent we got to capacity and had to shut the entry! 🤯

Wow. Every month, the variety that you guys & gals all bring out gets more and more impressive.

Next event is live on Facebook for the 19th of July, you best believe we can’t wait. 🏎️☕️

🗓️ THIS SUNDAY 28th of June, 8am to 10am

Vic Park Pitstop is back for another community event showcasing the exceptional variety that Adelaide’s car scene has to offer.

With recent goings-on at other car events in recent weeks, we want to take the opportunity to reiterate our stance on hoon behaviour.

Vic Park Pitstop is simply not the place to show off, do burnouts or skids, or leave in an otherwise reckless / disrespectful manner. We have cameras constantly recording at the exit, with any poor behaviour then excluding you from upcoming ticketed events (such as our track cruise last year) as well as Vic Park Pitstop in its entirety, and being reported to police with footage sent as evidence.

We’re car enthusiasts at heart, but we know where the limit is, and we ask that our attendees do too. Not only do you embarrass yourself (no-one thinks doing a skid at a Cars & Coffee event is cool) and risk getting the event shut down, but you also endanger those who attend the event.

Vic Park Pitstop is a quiet morning out with good people, cool and unique cars, and seriously good coffee. We simply ask that you respect other attendees by doing the right thing, so that we can continue to provide the same event that everyone has grown to love. For those who do the right thing, we thank you. 🏎️☕️

Thank you to our event partners who help to keep this event ongoing:

UPDATE
Please note, due to construction onsite, disregard the previous information about parking near the pit and paddock area. The event will now be back to being ran it’s its usual location surrounding the grandstand.

***

Please follow our volunteers’ instructions and parking directions at all times.

We’ve seen 99% of the community driving respectfully — thank you! Your passion makes every event memorable. ❤️

Unfortunately, a small minority continue to act in antisocial or dangerous ways. At the last event, a group of motorcyclists illegally entered via a pedestrian gate. The rider of a white Yamaha R7 performed a wheelie at speed near cyclists and pedestrians. They were turned away by volunteers and many supportive attendees. This incident has been reported to SAPOL, and the rider is now banned.

We’re also recording vehicles leaving the event excessively. Cameras now monitor entries and exits. Repeat offenders and those behaving disrespectfully are being documented, contacted where possible, and in serious cases banned or reported to police. Those on our list will automatically be excluded from special events like the Adelaide Street Circuit Track Cruise.

We’ve worked hard to make Vic Park Pitstop Adelaide’s premier Cars & Coffee event. Let’s not let a few ruin it for everyone.

Thank you to the vast majority who do the right thing and help keep this a safe, family-friendly gathering. See you tomorrow, with some new event partners that we’ll be announcing soon! 🏎️☕️

Enjoy these photos from our last Pit Stop.

Our next event is on April 26th from 8am to 10am, held in the hardstand area on the Adelaide Grand Final track, where the pit building is usually situated. We’ll share a post closer to the day with more information, but entrance/exit points and timing remain the same. Just rock up; we’ll help with the rest.

Before attending our next event, please take time to read the important information that we’ll be posting over the coming days regarding behaviour in and around Vic Park Pitstop. We work hard behind the scenes to foster a safe environment for the community for people of all ages, and we thank those who do the right thing - you know who you are. 🏎️☕️
