A few little snippets from our Sunday night at the Momentum youth takeover. What a great service!
On Friday, we had Bart Bruehler come and chat to us about Baptism, and got an awesome question; "do we need to be able to speak in tongues to get into heaven?" We thought we'd unpack that. In short, no, we get into heaven through our faith in Christ. Speaking in tongues is a spiritual gift, one that God gives some of his children in order to speak to them in this unique and more direct way. It's a gift that many will go without ever receiving, but that doesn't mean they're any less redeemed or treasured by God. The magnificence of spiritual gifts is that we all have them and have the ability to ask God for them, and there are so many of them!
