At Asia Oasis, we believe authenticity is what makes every experience special. And behind that experience are the incredible families who bring our food stalls to life. ❤️

Many of our vendors start preparing fresh ingredients early in the morning, spend the day cooking and serving with care, and stay until late at night to pack up and clean. Behind every dish is not just hard work, but a family sharing their passion, traditions, and love through food.

Watching them work together reminds us of our own family gatherings: grandmothers, mothers, and aunties cooking side by side while dads, grandfathers, and uncles set the table. The kitchen fills with the sounds of cooking and conversations, bringing everyone a little closer together.

It’s this familiar warmth that makes us feel at home, even when we’re far from it. 🏡

To all our family vendors, thank you for cooking with love, sharing your stories, and bringing a little piece of home to our festivals. You’re what makes Asia Oasis feel like one big family.

A LITTLE PIECE OF HOME 🌿

Have you ever noticed the little things that make our festivals feel different?

The bamboo tables where families gather, the Balinese huts that remind us of simpler village life, or the colourful lanterns of Hoi An carrying wishes and dreams.

They’re not just decorations. Each has a story, a tradition and a little piece of home behind it.

For some, they bring back familiar memories. For others, they’re a chance to discover something new.

And that’s what Colours of Asia is all about. Bringing people and cultures together, one little detail at a time.

This November, Alexandra Gardens becomes a meeting place of Asian flavours, traditions and stories. Sip from a fresh coconut, settle beneath the lanterns and let an afternoon with your favourite people turn into an evening you’ll want to linger in.

Who owns a culture?

Maybe no one.

Maybe all of us.

A recipe shared by a grandmother. A dance passed down through generations. A song that travels across oceans. Culture grows when it is shared.

At Asia Oasis festivals, we believe there is a difference between "using" a culture and "honouring" it.

Honouring a culture means listening to its stories, celebrating its people, and learning with an open heart.

That's why Asia Oasis festivals are more than food and entertainment. They are little invitations to discover, connect and appreciate the beautiful traditions that make our communities unique.

After all, the best thing about culture is that there is always room for one more person at the table. ❤️
