The Windy City Open The Windy City Open is a competitive Ballroom Dance event hosted every year by Organizer Emil Ioukhnikov. DEAR DANCERS AND EXTENDED WINDY CITY OPEN FAMILY!

This year's is being hosted April 1st -4th, 2027 at the Westin Chicago North Shore! What a roller coaster this year has been! We cant wait to see you all in Chicago again this March 24-27, 2022 at the Westin Chicago North Shore! Competition registration will be opening very soon — and we’re so excited to welcome everyone back March 26–29, 2026! ❤️

Below is some important information about judging for this year’s events:

• Open Professional & Open Amateur events — assessed by 17 judges
• Pro-Am Multi-Dance & Scholarships — assessed by 13 judges
• Professional Rising Star events — assessed by 15 judges
• Pro-Am Single Dances — assessed by at least 7 judges
