P-Nuckle has spent the better part of two decades blending reggae, rock, ska, and punk into a sound that hits with grit, groove, and pure honesty. Known for high-energy shows, raw storytelling, and a knack for turning real-life struggle into uplifted anthems, P-Nuckle carved their own lane long before genre-bending became the norm.

Over the years, P-Nuckle released a catalog of fan-favorite albums that capture the band’s signature mix of raw vulnerability, rebel spirit, and undeniable groove. Their music speaks to real people living real lives—songs about love, loss, resilience, addiction, recovery, and the complicated beauty of just trying to make it through another day. It’s reggae with teeth, rock with a heartbeat, and ska with soul.

With new music, new energy, and new purpose, P-Nuckle continues to evolve while staying true to the sound that defined them: honest lyrics, addictive melodies, and a rhythm section built to move any crowd. If you're a fan of the legends of reggae, the foundation of roots and dancehall, then this is where you want to be. Real Alofa Sound will be spinning vinyls of many classics, some of artists you may have never even heard of. He also mixes in tracks of the ones we all know, as well as some newer artists. Returning for the fourth year in a row, the hosts of Cali-RAD Fest 2026, RAS MIKE and JESSIE RULES!!!

Ras Mike Michael "Ras Mike" Johns , Host and on-air personality at Nugradio has hosted Cali Vibes, Reggae Rise up, Bay Fest and countless other festivals. His energy and apparent love of the culture and music is prevalent in every show he has hosted. His high energy celebrating the diversity and culture in recognizing the influences of past and present artists shows in his ability to Move the Crowd (MC). Interacting with the crowd and making the crowd feel part of the show is what he does and he loves for the audience to be a part of, not apart from, by setting the tone and making sure they enjoy themselves

Jessie Rules Jessie Rules is an independent artist with a focus in graphic art, logos, body painting, photography, video editing, interviewing, podcasting, and custom crochet. She is also the creator of this year’s Cali-RAD Fest poster!!! Currently working as a Graphic Artist creating logos, band/business promotion, and custom designs. Forever finding the balance between being the best mom she can be, creating art to the best of her abilities, and thriving through living with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and other chronic illnesses. Make every moment count.

Jessie is the mastermind behind this years awesome poster, creator of the last 2 posters. Can't wait to see where our likkle Rasta Duchenne Hero ends up on the 2027 poster. 🤔

🤔 Did you know, you can't spell "Radical" without Cali-RAD??? 🤯

And, what's Radical about Cali-RAD? What a great question!

Besides this being our 5th year celebration...
Besides bringing awareness to a disease most of us have never heard about...
Besides providing a stage for local SoCal (and beyond) musicians to share their music with us...
Besides providing families and friends of all ages with positive vibes and energy everyone can enjoy...
From the volunteers to the musicians who all donate their time for this cause...
From the vendors who donate sales to the cause...
From the guests who attend each year to support, not only Duchenne muscular dystrophy, but to support the bands/artists who bless us with their music...
From donating their venue so we can bring this event to life...

Besides all of that amazingness...

What makes Cali-RAD so Radical is that it brings the community together for One Love, One Aim, One Outcome...a cure for Duchenne! And in order to do that, all the help mentioned above allows us to give 100% of the proceeds to in an effort to fund research for a cure for this disease. This is the ONLY reggae fest in the world that does this!!!! (at least, according to Google)

Each year, we grow. Each year, we add a little more. This year, we are excited to introduce a few new things that will be fun for children and adults alike. But to find out what they are, you're gonna have to attend.
