Bronx Book Fair In 2017 Lorraine Currelley made herstory by becoming the first female executive director for the Bronx Book Fair aka The Peoples Book Fair.

nd mission. The Bronx Book Fair is the premiere and largest annual literary event in the Bronx. Since 2013 the Bronx Library Center, New York Public Library has been our hosting venue.. The Bronx Book Fair vision and mission as part of POETS NETWORK & EXCHANGE is to connect and encourage literary and social engagement between community residents and poets and writers.
