New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani extended greetings to Muslims in the city and around the world on Eid Miladun Nabi, honouring the life and legacy of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Mamdani said the Prophet’s teachings of “compassion, generosity, justice, faith, and service” have inspired communities for more than 1,400 years, adding that his example reminds us that caring for one another and embracing diversity can help build a better New York City.
