And that’s a wrap! The 2026 Season of SPIRITUS Festival ended yesterday with Schoenberg’s “Transfigured Night”. Thank you to everyone who came out these last two weeks to listen and be a part of the music-making here in Long Island, NY.

Though this season has concluded, the Festival is not over—we are looking forward to returning to the community in 2027! Here are a few ways you can stay connected as we plan ahead for our next season:

“He died, but his music is still alive” — this is why we seek to invest in a future generation of musicians, who will continue to bring to life the music of past composers and speak to the audiences of tomorrow.

Yesterday, and .wuu taught a masterclass at the Long Island Museum; Kim also offered individual lessons to students attending the Masterclass. Later this week, SPIRITUS Artists are headed to Plainview-Bethpage JFK High School for our second local schools outreach event!
