As the competition director has been in the ICU for 2+ weeks we have had to make the decision to delay the event by a month or two. New dates for intake, judges kits and the event will be announced soon and we promise that it won’t be quite so hot out and will still bring to you all a memorable and unique experience. We expect to have better details within the next two weeks or so, thank you for your understanding and concerns. ✌🏽

Have you ever wanted to judge or compete in a cannabis competition? The Tournament of Terps is an event designed to give everyone the opportunity to participate in the search for the best cannabis products New York has to offer. Whether you’d like to enter for best flower, edible, or concentrate or if you always dreamed of getting to sample and judge some of the best cannabis in the world, the Tournament of Terps will immerse you in a unique and fun cannabis experience.
Judges have from August 12th to the 26th to score their kits and then on August 28th we will gather to celebrate all things cannabis and crown our 😭 champion. Attendees will also get to vote on the People’s Choice category the day of the event (while supplies last). The event will also feature:

Interactive and educational dab & flowers tasting bar
Competition Display
Live Judging People’s Choice
Fun and educational panels:

-Meet and sesh with Rick Cusick , Former Associate Publisher of High Times magazine, longtime member of the board of directors at NORML, a cannabis business lifetime achievement award recipient, an activist and Author of the soon to be published book, Re**er Dadness. Let him weave stories and anecdotes both unbelievable and endearing from his endless bag of tales that are sure to enlighten and entertain.

-Danny “Danko” Vinkovetsky, former cultivation editor at High Times and currently senior editor of Northeast Leaf, host of Grow Bud Yourself Podcast and author of Cannabis: A Beginner’s Guide to Growing Ma*****na will have copies of his book available to sign and have plenty of copies of The Northeast Leaf magazine, representing the areas newest and latest info about our culture. Having judged more cannabis cups than anyone on the planet, we’ll have an open discussion and Q&A on strains, cultivation and what it means to be a New Yorker in these new 420 forward times.

-A presentation on How to Pick the Perfect Pot with Sean Black, former High Times Cannabis Cup Competition Director and writer. Based off a popular article written for High Times, he’ll discuss how to approach judging cannabis and what are some key indicators to help refine your pot palate.

Have you ever wanted to judge or compete in a cannabis competition? New York has always had it’s own fire terps!

Whether you want to compete, judge or come celebrate New York’s scene, the Tournament of Terps is our way of highlighting the best of our canna-community. You can enter to compete for best flowers, concentrates or edible and be crowned champion at our festival & award show on August 28.
Have you ever wanted to judge? Beginning August 12, judges will sample and rank their favorite entries up until our event where attendees can choose best in show. Live music, a class on how to select the perfect pot, infused cooking demo by , games with prizes, a tech and gadget corner highlighting all things new to to the community, a dab and tasting bar, competition display, live glass blowing and tons of heady glass on sale, food and vendors plus more shenanigans to come!
