Luck Reunion

Luck Reunion Inspired by it's annual "anti-festival" at Willie Nelson's ranch in Luck, TX.
(404)

Inspired by its annual "anti-festival" hosted on Willie Nelson's Luck, TX property, Luck Reunion creates unique spaces for cultural discovery. Nearly 10 years ago, a group of friends came together with a vision for a new kind of live music experience. We knew we wanted to honor the cross-section culture that has long motivated creative tradition; to preserve traditions in music, food, and craft; a

nd to create a stage for modern-day outliers who are influenced by the legacies before us. What started as a one-day event has grown into a community; a platform for us to share the ethos of Luck and bring together musicians, chefs, and artisans who are contributing to American roots culture in an authentic way. In addition to the flagship annual event, Luck produces content and experiences both in and out of Luck with the mission of providing a space for craftsmanship, preservation and discovery. Our goal is to attract musicians, artisans, and chefs, who like the outlaws and outliers before them, follow their dreams without compromise.

Potluck is a reminder that good food takes time. From the soil to the fire, every step matters. This year, Chef Edgar Rico brought that philosophy with him, pressing 16-hour corn tortillas that tasted like the kind of tradition you can’t rush.

Returning to Potluck as the Ambassador Chef for the second year, Chef Michael Fojtasek ( & ) knows the importance of gathering around the table as strangers and leaving as family.

Todd Snider was the kind of friend who showed up when the world got too heavy and stayed until the sun came up.

He spent his life building a world where honesty was the only currency that mattered, proving you could be a legend and still be the first person to pull up a chair for a stranger.

A collective exhale for a man who taught us all how to walk a little taller.

The full tribute is live at the Luck Journal.

Brian and Amanda Light traded the traditional restaurant noise for fifteen acres of patience and a shorter path from the soil to the plate.
Over at Luck we tend to keep the same kind of company... folks who value intention over volume.

A few moments from Potluck.

Conversations that carry on, meals that turn into something more, and a night that unfolds on its own.

Call it a premonition. Last year, St. Vincent claimed her spot in the family by simply reaching into the crowd and crowning herself with a fan’s Luck Reunion hat. She wore it through the end of the set without a single word, leaving us all wondering when - not if - she’d make it to the ranch. Having finally witnessed her “electric mind” in person this year, the story feels even more perfect.

Trace the journey of one of the greatest guitarists of our generation in the Luck Journal.

Today, our landlord turns 93. He’s still the sharpest songwriter in the room, the quickest wit on the bus, and the only person who can make “On the Road Again” feel like a brand-new invitation every single night.

Raise a glass (or whatever else you’ve got handy) to 93 years of Willie Nelson. The road goes on forever, and we’re just lucky to be hitching a ride…

Austin City Limits did more than document a city. It helped define it.

It is hard to separate the two now.

We looked back at where it all began.
