California Freethought Day California Freethought Day celebrates science, free speech, social justice, and more... every year! It's a festival of freethought.

California Freethought Day combines the fun and atmosphere of a fair with the education and activism of a conference. We'll have speakers and entertainment, an authors' and podcasters' panel, and more! Our event has occurred in October of every year since 2001. Our mission is to host an annual festival that encourages freedom of speech and thought, civic engagement, enthusiasm for science, social

justice, and the separation of church and state. But we're more than just the annual event! We also offer annual scholarships, host statewide legislative advocacy and leadership events, and more.

We are thrilled to see this interfaith response to Christian Nationalism in Washington DC.

"We reject Christian nationalism! Democracy, not theocracy!"

BREAKING: Ahead of this Sunday’s Christian nationalist rally on the National Mall, we’re projecting messages in support of religious freedom for ALL on the walls of Washington DC’s National Gallery of Art.

We reject Christian nationalism! Democracy, not theocracy!

The projections, a collaboration between Interfaith Alliance and Robin Bell, will shine bright on the National Mall ahead of Trump’s “Rededicate 250” event, in which a roster of almost exclusively conservative Christians will mark America’s 250th anniversary with a “rededication of our country as One Nation to God.”
