Fashion Week Rochester launched in 2010 to engage the community in a three-day event that would spotlight local designers, boutiques, businesses and artists while shining a light on youth homelessness. In its eighth year, Fashion Week is poised to offer the most exciting and fashion-forward runway shows yet!

Krista started crocheting over ten years ago as a form of self-care and meditation. Each crocheted piece is handcrafted in 3-8 hours with love and creativity. Her mission is to inspire confidence, comfort, and freedom through handmade fashion. 🧶✨

The talented crocheter’s hobby bloomed into a flourishing business, Spirit + Thread 🧶 Crochet Patterns.

Krista then created The Creative Business Accelerator to help those who wish to sell their craft. She helps crafters navigate how to turn their hobby into a business, giving them confidence and clarity.

You can see Krista’s creations on the FWR runway on Thursday night. Grab tickets before they sell out to see Krista’s handmade creative designs! 💕💕

Since it's establishment in 1899, Hickey-Freeman has been a symbol of American craftsmanship and timeless tailoring. The brand built its reputation on hand-finished suits, quality fabric, and impeccable attention to detail. That legacy is carried on today by Matt Piccone (Matthew Piccone) who will be on the Fashion Week Rochester runway October 17.
