Blackfriars Theatre is a mid-sized professional theatre that has entertained audiences for 75 years in downtown Rochester, NY!

Blackfriars is proud to invite you to our theater located in Rochester's "Theatre Row" along Main St. We are now in our 72nd season of providing quality theatrical entertainment to the Greater Monroe County and Finger Lakes region. Blackfriars Theatre produces 7 theatrical productions each year (6 in our subscription series and 1 special summer show through our Summer Intensive program from young artists). Our theatrical season starts each fall and runs through May. Our committed group of performers, technicians and volunteers are proud to bring live entertainment in the form of dramatic and musical productions to our local community in western New York.

🚨ALERT ALERT ALERT!🚨 (Because we are NOTHING if not sneaky little minxes with tricks up our sleeves...)

In a shocking turn of events, now through November 14th, any donations made in support of this year's Season Soirée will be DOUBLED, up to $2,000, thanks to a matching challenge from our longtime subscribers and friends Kellie & Craig Ronald!

We hope Kellie & Craig's awesome generosity will inspire you to make a donation (and have it doubled!) toward our Soirée fundraising efforts, benefitting the theatre's artistic and educational programming. Help us get closer to our $40,000 goal - make a Soirée gift before the big day on November 14th! (donation link in comments) 💖

SOIREE TEASER #8!! What are the effortless tones of Kit Prelewitz going to be voicing this year?! You have until TOMORROW (Sunday, November 1st) at noon to grab your tickets and find out!!

So many of our artists and patrons ask how they can help support BT ... this is the way, folks! The Season Soiree is the biggest, most impactful night of our year, and we're always so thankful for the support that we see, not just from the community at large--but particularly from our artists: the people who spend the most time with us doing the creating and putting skin in the game. We can't wait to see you there, but if you can't make it, ALWAYS remember that you can still support Blackfriars by VOTING for your favorite show as we announce on social media!!
