Get to know one of the showcasing designers of FashioNXT 2026: Mensonique ✨

Meet Lisa, a Tacoma-based designer and the creative mind behind Mensonique, a beautiful boutique specializing in bespoke fashion, custom bridal couture, and alterations.

This year, Lisa is bringing a special collection to the FashioNXT runway on October 10th, and we can’t wait to see her vision come to life. 💃🏼

In this short feature, Lisa shares more about her upbringing, her journey as a designer, and some of the challenges that have shaped her along the way. She also opens up about her experience with limes disease, using her story to bring greater awareness to the experiences of women navigating similar challenges.

This is just the beginning. 👀

UpNXT: FashioNXT Emerging Designers Accelerator has been the biggest platform to launch the careers new faces in the PNW; a reason why FORBES Magazine article put FashioNXT #1 in US City fashion weeks. Every year, on the opening night of FashioNXT I feel the goosebumps to have the privilege of making such introductions for the creative scene. Join me on Oct 8, as at this year’s UpNXT runway finale, serious contestants are coming from Los Angeles, Dallas to sn**ch the winner’s title from Portland designers.
Could it be the first year that Portland lose the title or would they keep it home as they did in the past years fending off Seattle or Vancouver BC designers? I am so eager to see.
