Thank you for following our page and joining NABI Nation! OUR STORY-
For 22 years NABI- Native American Basketball Invitational, a women ran national sporting event, has been kno
wn for being the largest and most prestigious all-Native American Basketball Invitational serving Indigenous high school age youth from all over the world! In 2025, 2000+ student athletes compete in the NABI sporting custom NABI Nation uniforms and playing over 500+ games. To make it to the Championship games- is to play in front of thousands of cheering fans and live streamed to thousands across Indian Country through AZFamily Sports and NABI.Network platform. To win- is to win the prestigious solid bronze NABI Championship trophy created by world re-known Native American bronze Artist Dave Montour, and proudly bring it back to their Tribal community. BUT- NABI is much more than basketball!! NABI believes using the love and sport of basketball is the perfect tool to unite thousands of Indigenous youth and inspire them to continue to develop and play the sport of basketball, and to use their talents and skills to pursue higher education while striving to become tomorrow's leaders. During NABI week our student athletes are also exposed to many educational opportunities to include the NABI College & Career Fair, NABI Educational Youth Summit, and our NABI College Scholarship Fund, which to date has awarded over $600K in scholarships and grants. Some of our NABI Alumni have gone on to play college basketball, WNBA, and have professional careers in the fields of law, medicine, community services and sports marketing to name a few. We are proud that NABI has truly come full circle and our NABI Alumni continue to be an instrumental aspect of our Educational Youth Summit by sharing their love of the game, the importance of participating in sports, their higher education journeys to include stories of their struggles and successes to inspire our young athletes. It has been proven youth participating in sport are highly likely to break the cycles of poverty, high school dropout rates, chemical dependency, and lower teen suicide rates. All of which run rampant on our Tribal Nations. Education is the key for our Native youth to continue to succeed! To continue LIVE streaming of NABI games on NABI's own network platform in order to highlight and promote our talented Native athletes! In addition, NABI is committed to organizing quality educational programming during NABI week. NABI will continue to be committed to our philanthropic initiatives and raising much needed funds to support our youth and communities, through the NABI College Scholarship Fund, managed under the Arizona Community Foundation. When we work together, all our youth benefit...
