 Once a year, after all the planning, chaos, long hours, and hard work, I get on here and say THANK YOU to everyone who showed up and helped make the Needville Fall Festival such an incredible weekend! ❤️🍂

This weekend, I was told so many times, “Thank you for everything you’ve done. This has been amazing” And my response was always the same: “I could not do this without those of you who do this with me.”

And I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

To my incredible committee — Laura, Jessica, Mia, Alexis, Jessica, Seth, Clarissa, Leon, Peggy, Jan, Judy, Brittany, and Ashley — THANK YOU!

I may hold the title of President, but I can only do what I do because I have each of you. You take on the jobs I ask of you, handle them without question, and make things happen. That kind of trust and dedication is priceless.

And then there’s Burley, who abandoned me to go celebrate his kid winning the World Championship Kids Q in Indianapolis! 😂 Burley, that’s exactly where you were supposed to be! Congratulations!!

And Mike, off enjoying an amazing retirement cruise! That’s exactly where you were supposed to be, too! Enjoy retirement!

And THAT is why I have the best team. Because when one of us can’t be there, someone else steps up. We pick up where someone else leaves off, support each other, and somehow, through all the chaos, we make it happen!

People see the festival, the entertainment, the vendors, and the smiles. What they don’t see are the countless hours, sacrifices, phone calls, and behind-the-scenes work it takes to pull it all together.

This event isn’t successful because of one person. It’s successful because of ALL of us.

I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together, but even more grateful for the people I get to build it with.

I may be the President, but YOU are the reason it all comes together. And I wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else! ❤️🍁

Thank you to all of those who showed up, whether it be for the barbecue cookoff. the kids games or the concerts tonight. You are why we do what we do!!
