Fruit & Spice Park in Homestead is a 37-acre tropical garden filled with hundreds of varieties of fruits, vegetables, spices, herbs, and nuts. 🌿 Fruit & Spice Park

This year, the park is also being recognized as part of the America250 campaign, highlighting places with lasting historic and cultural significance.

🌿 The park’s collection includes:
• 190 cultivars of mango 🥭
• 38 species of bamboo
• 40 varieties of bananas 🍌
• 19 cultivars of jackfruit
• Dozens of other rare and exotic edible plants

🍋 Here’s what else you can do:
• Guided tram and tasting tours
• Sample fallen fruit on the grounds
• Visit the gift shop for snacks and souvenirs
• Enjoy the family picnic grounds
• Get 50% off on Homestead Tuesdays
• Use free wheelchair rentals

Please note: You can sample fallen fruit found on the grounds, but picking fruit from the trees or taking fruit home is not permitted.

La Birra Bar Burger has been serving award-winning burgers since 2001, and this year marks their 25th anniversary! 🎉

We tried four burgers at their North Miami Beach location, but the Crispy Dubai stood out. It won the 2026 Dubai Burger Championship and the 2026 Burger Bash People’s Choice Award! 🤯

🌅 Catch the sunset from the water!

Miami-Dade County, through Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces and EcoAdventures, is hosting a 2-hour sunset cruise on Biscayne Bay this August 28.

You’ll board the 45-foot Parks Explorer catamaran and cruise past Crandon Park, Coconut Grove, Virginia Key, Brickell, and Downtown Miami while learning about the Bay’s history and natural ecosystems, including mangroves, seagrass beds, wading birds, and manatees.

The open-air catamaran offers panoramic views of the Miami shoreline as the sun sets and the moon rises over the Bay. 🌙
