Halloween night 10/31 | 9pm - 2am
Featuring DJ Tony Largo, a pioneering Los Angeles native and a legendary figure in the West Coast house music scene. Beginning his DJ career in the late ’70s playing disco, he became a driving force in LA’s underground house movement in the early ’90s.
Largo is best known for co-founding and serving as resident DJ of Does Your Mama Know? (DYMK) alongside fellow LA house pioneer Marques Wyatt.
Running weekly from 1992 to 2003, DYMK became an iconic Sunday morning after-hours party, known for its dark, sweaty dance floor, throbbing bass, and diverse crowd. Its primary home was the infamous Coconut Teaszer on the Sunset Strip.
The party hosted marathon sets from house music legends including Frankie Knuckles, Louie Vega, Danny Tenaglia, Kerri Chandler, Tony Humphries, Steve “Silk” Hurley, CJ Mackintosh, just to name a few. DYMK continued with annual events through 2026, culminating in its 35-year finale.
Largo also helped soundtrack a generation of LA ravers through his weekly mix show on MARS FM 103.1 and influential club residencies throughout the city. Known to some as “LA’s best-kept secret” or “The Enigma,” his signature sound blends garage, soulful house, deep house, and dubs. He held numerous key residencies across the city during this golden era, including Candelabra, Blind Faith on Tuesdays, Ana's Playhouse on Wednesdays, Open House on Fridays, and legendary Sunday afternoon sets at Maxx.
