Looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? The California Highway Patrol Senior Volunteer Program offers individuals 55 years and older the opportunity to serve with purpose and make a real impact.
Senior Volunteers play an important role in supporting CHP operations while helping keep our communities safe. Whether assisting at offices, supporting community outreach, or providing valuable administrative help, your time and experience truly make a difference.
To join the program, applicants must:
- Be 55 years of age or older
- Be able to volunteer a minimum of 4 hours per week
- Pass a background check
- Maintain a good driving record
- Successfully complete the CHP Senior Volunteer Training Program
