Everyday I come home to see my front door. It’s the perfect blend of creativity and celebration… and I LOVE IT.

As an Indian mom I feel like I have to double down on Diwali. Halloween is everywhere and I need to compensate… maybe even over compensate ;)

Honestly nothing brings greater joy than having the perfect shipping box fit an order.

Pink Burfi start as activity boxes. So all the small activities would just fit in the LLC but as I expanded on individual crafts managing shipping boxes became a whole game on its own.

Small wins like, this perfect fit for an order with 4 coloring rolls made me jump with joy!

You know that feeling when you buy a craft for your little one, they (and you!!!) are SO excited to try it… and then they can’t quite do it themselves? 🥺

Honestly, this is a big part of why I started Pink Burfi in the first place. I wanted crafts that little hands could actually do, even while they’re still learning, figuring things out, and building those tiny motor skills. Crafting with kids should be about the fun of DOING, not the frustration of trying to make something their little hands aren’t quite ready for yet.

So many moms have been asking me what crafts I’d recommend for different ages, so I put together a little guide to what I’d pick for 3-year-olds, 5-year-olds, and 8-year-olds!

🪔 Diwali is the time for me to pull out all the various crafts I’ve done over the years with junior cofounder; some from Pink Burfi and some not. I started this company when options were few and definitely not age appropriate for a 3 year old. ✨

This simple yet impactful craft was drawn and cut by me perfect for little hands. Every year they are the fist things I bring out to kick off Diwali decor. Stay tuned for more glimpses into how I’m decorating my home this year.
