What a smashing Halloween race at Miller Park!

The costumes were rad, the stoke was real, the racing was fast and exciting, and the pumpkin barrier lasted far longer than we expected.

Special shoutout to all the volunteers who made this race happen in one day, from 5am setup to evening tear down.

See you all at Lembi Park in Folsom, November 14-15!

We're not saying you HAVE to race in a costume at Miller Park… but you'll want to. 😈 Here's why:

👻 Treat yourself to a callup! Costumed racers start at the front of their category.
🎃 Watch out for the pumpkin barrier on course. Gourd luck!
🦇 Costume lap at 12:10 PM, right before the kids race. Racing or not, everyone is welcome!
🏆 Prizes at the Race Director's discretion 😉
🍬 FREE Kids Race at 12:15 PM for shredders 9 and under, with Halloween goodie bags at the finish!

🚗 Parking is $5 per vehicle, cash or Venmo only
📍 Packet pickup is at the Registration Tent near the finish line, 8 AM to 2 PM.
✅ If you have your packet, you don't need to check in again
🔧 Neutral support provided by Trek El Dorado Hills
🎃 Costume lap open to everyone at 12:10 PM
👧 FREE Kids Race at 12:15 for shredders 9 and under
🍺 No b**r garden here (sorry - permit too expensive!), but show your SacCX bib at Bike Dog's Broadway taproom just 1 mile away for $2 off your b**r

Miller Park is this Saturday, and it’s our toughest race to pull off. We need your help! 👊

Normally, we set everything up the day before a race. But at Miller Park, we build the entire course Saturday morning, race all day, and tear it all down before we leave. 🫠

That's where you come in. We still need 27 volunteers:
🔨 12 for setup
🚩 6 course marshals
🚚 9 for teardown

No experience needed. Grab a shift before or after your race, and go home knowing you heled make the day happen for everyone out there.

Trick or tread! 🎃 One week until we haunt Miller Park. This riverside course packs a punch in a narrow space with lots of grass, more hillside than you'd expect, and a signature drop to the beach for sand and a run-up.

Get those legs ready to scream, and your costume ready to impress! 🦖👻

What an epic way to kick off the season!!! Day 2 at Orangevale Park brought the stoke with even better weather and all our bike friends.

And yes, that is a dog in a backpack 🐶 props to Sprocket for racing all day with his dad in the GravelCross category!

We’re back, baby!!!! Orangevale Day 1 did not disappoint. This course is fast and fun with a lil bit of everything.

And we’re just getting started. Don’t miss day 2 tomorrow! We’ll run the course in reverse direction, a first for this modified Orangevale track. Plus the usual - good vibes, good people, good b**r.
