Sometimes we try to measure the results of what God has instructed us to do based on our own expectations or a perceived goal. We try to determine if it worked, or was successful based on what we can see.
Was it good enough? Did it reach enough people? Did it turn out as expected?
But God doesn't measure outcomes in the way we do. His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9) He simply asks us to be obedient and take the next step trusting Him.
What feels small or fails to meet our expectations is made perfect in Him. 1 Corinthians 3:6–7 "I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase."
Success in God’s calling is not about visible results. It is about obedience and faith. We should step out faithfully into whatever He placed in our hands, and trust Him with what comes from it.
