Most people know Be + Well for fertility, hormones, and women’s health—so where does cosmetic acupuncture fit?

In Chinese medicine, the face has never been viewed separately from the rest of the body.

Long before modern skincare, Chinese medical cosmetology—the roots of what we now call cosmetic acupuncture—was associated with China’s imperial courts. Empresses and court women used these practices to support healthy skin, vitality, and longevity.

New research in endometriosis care 🌿

A 2026 study followed 202 women with endometriosis-associated infertility for 5 years after laparoscopic surgery.

Half received individualized Chinese herbal medicine for 6 months, while half received placebo.

The findings were encouraging:

✨ Pregnancy: 82% vs. 69%
✨ Live birth: 77% vs. 59%
✨ Endometriosis recurrence: 12% vs. 24%

Women in the Chinese herbal medicine group also conceived sooner.

This does not mean Chinese herbal medicine is a cure for endometriosis, and one study is never the full story. But it does suggest that individualized herbal medicine may have a meaningful role in postoperative care — particularly for fertility support and long-term recurrence risk.
