The 28th Annual Encinitas Chamber of Commerce Oktoberfest will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Mountain Vista Drive. This free and festive community event has a longstanding tradition of celebrating the German roots of our Encinitas area. Featuring a street craft fair with over 200 vendors serving authentic German food and beers from national & local breweries, and including unusual artisans and craft items. There will be a family fun zone with children’s games, family-oriented activities, and much more. German-American Band and Bavarian dancers will be performing, & this year’s event will also feature Encinitas Magazine's "Keepin' It Local" Beer Garden. The Beer Garden area will highlight craft breweries that are bringing their own unique spin to Oktoberfest. Oktoberfest, or Wiesn, is a 16–18 day beer festival held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, running from late September to the first weekend in October.
