👑❤️ THE MAN I AM TODAY — CREATED, MOLDED, AND TRANSFORMED BY GOD 🙏🏽✝️
As I reflect on my life, I can honestly say that I am a man who knows who he is, whose he is, and where God has brought him from. I am a confident, classy, elegant, well-organized, and independent man who appreciates the finer things in life. I love fashion, designer clothing, name-brand shoes, mink coats, mink hats, and presenting myself with dignity and distinction. But please understand this: My confidence does not come from what I wear. My confidence comes from knowing who I am in Christ Jesus! ❤️🙏🏽
My love for fashion started when I was a young boy. Mama dressed us in clothes from Woolworth, but even back then, I had my own vision and appreciation for style. I was drawn to the timeless elegance of classic Hollywood, especially the sophisticated style of Billy Dee Williams and the fashion I admired in movies such as Cotton Comes to Harlem. I always knew I appreciated a different kind of look, a style that expressed confidence, class, and individuality.
But my life has not always been what it is today.
There was a time when I was out in the streets, involved in a lifestyle of pimping, stealing, lying, scheming, conniving, and dealing drugs. I was trying to survive, but that was not the man God intended for me to become. Thank God that my past did not have the final say over my future! 🙌🏽
God delivered me, worked on me, molded me, and shaped me into the man I am today. He has continued to transform my life, strengthen my faith, and teach me the importance of walking in His purpose. I give all the glory, honor, and praise to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Today, I am grateful to have my own home, to be able to stand on my own, to be organized, and to live in peace and contentment. I appreciate beautiful things, but I know that material possessions cannot compare to the goodness, mercy, and grace of God.
On November 23, as I celebrate my 66th birthday, I will look back over my life with a grateful heart. I will remember where I came from, what God brought me through, and how far He has carried me by faith. I am not ashamed of my testimony because it reminds me that God can bri
