The world lost an incredible talent, singer-songwriter and actor, Glen Hansard. Glen was the frontman for The Frames, part of the Oscar winning duo The Swell Season and also toured as a solo act. If you haven’t yet, give The Commitments and Once a watch. Check out the many performance videos on YouTube.
Glen visited The Triangle many times, either solo or with Swell Season. He played the Raleigh Art Museum and DPAC many times, the last time was almost a year ago to the day.
His gift to the world, his music will live on. 💔☘️. Raise a Parting Glass to Glen. Rest well.
