With another NDK in the books, and the staff slowly going into hibernation, we wanted to take a minute to remind you all to practice some self-care!

We all spend the weekend completely immersed in a community and atmosphere that is truly one of a kind and no one puts going home on their schedule. So, if you find yourself more emotional than usual, exhausted to your bones, and like something is missing, here are some ways to help beat Con Drop.

🥰 Find a con drop buddy! Check in with each other, stay connected share pictures and stories. The community we have here extends beyond the walls of the Ga***rd.

🍡💧 Eat and hydrate! Busy weekends make daily routines a little crazy and, in some cases, non-existent. Re-establish the routine that feeds your bodies and brains!

😴 Rest and rest well. Sleep is vital to your well-being and let's be so real- you spent the weekend running on caffeine, excitement and most likely no sleep. So, take the time to rest. Give your body and brain the time they need to rest and process your weekend.

📸 Share your weekend! Bask in the incredible cosplays, models, AMVs and everything in between. Tell people about your weekend, share the best, weirdest and favorites often and loudly!

We hope you get the rest you need and have your best year yet, and we will see you all at NDK 2027 as we celebrate 30 years of Nan Desu Kan together!

Was asked multiple times this weekend how long I’d been on staff, mostly in regard to potential interviews around next year’s 30th con.
So I dug out my badge collection.
