WHY SC HORROR?

SC Horror Convention is quickly approaching, September 19-20, at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

There are a lot of conventions out there, so why spend your weekend with South Carolina Horror Convention? Because SC Horror was built by and for people who LOVE HORROR.

Meet actors, filmmakers and horror legends from the movies you grew up watching and loving.

Celebrate everything from slashers and monsters to cult classics, indie horror and the films that helped create the genre.

Experience more than autograph tables. We’ve got panels, cosplay, vendors, artists, a live haunt experience by Dark Castle Haunted Attractions, our kid's section, Children of the Con, and activities throughout the weekend.

Shop a huge variety of vendors selling horror collectibles, artwork, movies, toys, clothing and things you’re probably not going to find at the mall. Bringing everything from physical media, toys, decor, clothing, posters, comics, and so much more!

And yes, horror can be for families too. We work hard to create an event where longtime horror fans can bring the next generation along for the ride.

But one of the things we’re proudest of?

We try to keep SC Horror affordable.

We believe you shouldn’t have to spend a fortune just to walk through the door before you’ve bought an autograph, photo, collectible or anything else you came for.

SC Horror isn’t trying to be everything to everybody. We’re a HORROR convention.. made by horror fans. for horror fans. No matter whether you’ve been collecting horror for 40 years or you’re coming to your very first convention, you’re part of this community.

Thank you all for the overwhelming amount of responses to our last vendor post. SC Horror Convention 2026 is now sold out of vendor spaces. If you wish to be put on a waiting list or can't wait for 2027, we have a growing list of vendors lining up for both. If you are a current vendor, we again thank you, and our official vendor load-in/load-out emails will be sent this Friday. Get excited, everyone!!
