Columbia, it's time to rethink your Friday night plans!

Who says you have to be 21 to have a night out?

Something SPOOKY is taking over Scoot’N Boots!

If you're joining us this Thursday or Friday, you might notice that our dance hall looks a little different than usual!

We're hard at work transforming the space for Saturday's Spook’Y Boos Bash, and things are starting to get a little creepy around here!

Don't worry, seating is still available throughout the dance hall! We've simply relocated it from our usual seating area to make room for something special.

We do ask that everyone please stay out of the haunted maze area until Saturday. Our crew is still working behind the scenes, and we want to keep the surprises hidden until it's time for the big reveal!

Our regular lessons and open dancing are still happening Thursday and Friday, so come out, hit the dance floor, and maybe catch a glimpse of the Halloween transformation in progress.

We're keeping a few tricks up our sleeves, and trust us, you haven't seen Scoot’N Boots quite like this before!

The full transformation will be revealed this Saturday, October 31st, at our Spook’Y Boos Bash!

The countdown to Halloween is ON!

MEET YOUR SOUTHERN DANCE SHOWDOWN JUDGES!

We're excited to officially introduce Autum Chaffin as one of our judges for the Southern Dance Showdown on November 14th!

Autum's love for dance started when she was just THREE years old, and what began as a childhood passion has grown into a lifelong love for the dance floor!

For Autum, dancing is so much more than learning steps. It's about expressing yourself, connecting with others, and sharing something you love with the people around you.

And that's exactly the kind of energy we're excited to bring to our judging panel!

At the Southern Dance Showdown, we're not just looking for dancers who can remember their steps. We want to see confidence, personality, showmanship, and a whole lot of heart alongside strong dance ex*****on!

We're thrilled to have Autum joining us and helping make this competition an unforgettable experience for our dancers!

Saturday, November 14, 2026

MEET YOUR SOUTHERN DANCE SHOWDOWN JUDGES!

We're excited to welcome **Eric & Trish from Let's Dance with Eric and Trish** to our judging panel for the Southern Dance Showdown on November 14th!

These two have quite the dance story!

Their journey began back in 1990 when they met on the dance floor. Six months later, they were married, and over 35 years later, they're still dancing through life together!

What started as a shared passion turned into decades of learning, teaching, and traveling. They've studied under champion dancers, taught workshops across multiple states, and even led their own country western performance team, Boots and Bloomers!

Their experience covers everything from Two Step and Waltz to Swing, Polka, Partner Dancing, and Line Dance.

Today, through Let's Dance with Eric and Trish, they're still doing what they love: helping dancers build confidence, improve their skills, and have FUN on the dance floor.

And now they're bringing all that experience to OUR competition floor!

We're thrilled to have them joining us and can't wait for them to see what our competitors bring to the Southern Dance Showdown!

**Saturday, November 14, 2026**
Scoot'N Boots | Columbia, SC
Doors open at 5 PM | Competition begins at 6 PM

Help us give Eric and Trish a big Scoot'N Boots welcome in the comments!

And competitors... you've got some experienced eyes watching those feet, so bring your A-game!

🚨 CREW'D BEHAVIOR — THERE'S A NEW BUCKLE UP FOR GRABS! 🚨

Think you've got what it takes to step onto the competition floor?

Our Southern Dance Showdown is coming up November 14th, and we've got a special Crew'd Behavior Buckle waiting for everyone brave enough to compete!

🏆 **SHOW PONY**

That's right! You don't have to win, place, or even have the cleanest footwork in the building. You just have to get out there and compete!

Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced — it doesn't matter. If you enter the Showdown and compete, you've earned yourself a new addition to your Crew'd Behavior Rap Sheet!

**IMPORTANT:** This is a Crew'd Behavior digital achievement Buckle, NOT the physical championship buckles awarded to competitors who place in the Southern Dance Showdown. Those are separate awards!

So yes, you can finish dead last and still walk away with a little something for your Rap Sheet. And if you place? Well, you might just be collecting TWO different kinds of bragging rights. 😏

November 14th | Southern Dance Showdown

Who's coming for their Show Pony Buckle?!
Registration link for the competition is in the comments!

SHE DID IT!! Kenna and her team WON their semifinal game last night, and tonight they're headed to the CHAMPIONSHIP!! 🏆

So this mama has one more game to cheer at before heading back to the dance floor!

But tonight at Scoot'N Boots, we're switching things up a little!

NO LESSONS. NO SCHEDULED TEACHES. JUST DANCING!

We're opening up the floor for a FULL NIGHT of dancing! Your requests, your favorite songs, and plenty of time to get those boots moving! We will have our regulars on the floor to help you thru all the dances you don't know and to dance out all the ones you do with you!

COMPETITORS, THIS ONE'S FOR YOU TOO!

With the Southern Dance Showdown coming up November 14th, we'll be playing ALL of the competition songs throughout the night! This is your chance to get some extra floor time, practice those dances, and get comfortable before competition day!

And don't worry, I'll be back shortly after 8 PM to join the party and get our Crew'd Behavior Floor Plays going!

Doors open at 6 PM, and we're dancing until MIDNIGHT!

$10 admission

Whether you're practicing for competition, dancing your favorites, or just looking for a fun Friday night, we've got a spot on the floor for you!

Come fill this dance floor while I go cheer my girl on in the CHAMPIONSHIPS!
