Check out the Chicago Health Atlas map https://chicagohealthatlas.org/indicators/FAI, a fascinating way to see the food crisis facing the south side of Chicago. The statistics on food insecurity are stark and shocking: the neighborhoods that border Hyde Park have an average of 34.5% of the population facing food insecurity. Compare that to the north side of Chicago where the average food insecurity rate hovers around 13%. We want to change these statistics, and we're doing it with your help. When you donate to the South Side Pie Challenge, those funds go directly to the Hyde Park Kenwood Food Pantry, which distributes 34,000 pounds of food monthly to our neighbors in need. Please donate today and help us combat these troubling statistics: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/2026-south-side-pie-challenge
