Update: relay registration re-opened after worked out glitch. Registration is underway with more than 50 people signed up so far! We had to pause relay registration for the time being until a kink gets worked out.

2026 Swim the Suck Registration Information

Swim the Suck 2026 USMS Swimmer registration opens on April 7th, 2026 at noon ET. The event date Saturday, October 3, 2026 with the dinner on Friday, October 2nd, 2026.

NOTE: We have not yet received sanctioning from USA Swimming for minors, so are unable to open the slots for swimmers under 18 at this time. Please follow this page and our page for updates.

We are 8 days away from registration! New this year, we will be providing the opportunity for swimmers to support the Tennessee River Gorge Trust.

TRGT is a Chattanooga area land trust that serves as a leader in conservation, actively stewarding over 17,000 acres in the Tennessee River Gorge. Its mission for over 40 years has been “to conserve a healthy Tennessee River Gorge as a community treasure for generations.” TRGT envisions a thriving future for the Tennessee River Gorge where the community has great access to outdoor recreation and wildlife flourishes. TRGT helps ensure STS and its participants experience a swim bounded by the beauty of the land and encompassed by the thriving waters.
